The aim of this online resource is to develop our understanding and appreciation of the individual cantos in and for themselves, as well as in relation to one another, to their historical context, and to Pound’s life. The scholarly wager is that by providing annotation, calendars of composition, bibliographies, links to drafts, and recorded readings, we will be in a better position to grasp the nature of Pound’s aesthetic and intellectual effort and bridge the gaps we still have in our understanding and evaluation of the whole poem.
